Sasha Visits Kuala Lumpur
In class this week, we read this book about Sasha going on a journey to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Instead of just writing our own recount piece, we made timelines to show the events in sequence.
Rehema's Journey - A Visit In Tanzania
This week in class we shared this book. We tried to make connections with our own lives and the journeys we have made. We were totally astonished to hear that Rehema had never left her village before. We were equally surprised to see that she used a miswaki to clean her teeth! She also carried water in a bucket on her head and helped wash her younger sisters with a hose pipe. We loved sharing this book and look forward to seeing more stories in class.
