UN Day 2012
This year our class had to get their passports and hurry down to the departure gates before heading off to Holland. We had a great time trying new games. We were all risk takers trying to place a nail tied on a long string, into a plastic bottle behind our legs! It was a tricky procedure. We also had fun pushing wooden discs into slots on a long wooden board! After that we were all rewarded with special pancake / waffle type treats! Thank you Holland! Tot ziens!
Next we travelled across Europe to try playing football in Germany and Spain. The children enjoyed making their own players and had fun playing finger football. Adios Spain! Ich hoffe Sie bald wider zu sehen!
After a long and exhausting flight, we finally arrived in Korea. We learned a new skill: Archery! The children showed great commitment and enthusiasm here. Kamsahamnida!
Finally we flew back to Europe again to visit Sweden for their Summer Time Maypole dancing and singing. The children showed creativity making their own summer crowns. Tack! Hej då. All in all it was a fantastic day with beautiful costumes, wonderful flags, delicious food and most of all happy memories! Thanks to all the Parents who gave up so much time to make the day a HUGE success!
