In class we made Easter Baskets. We had to look at the net of the 3D shape on the paper. Then we decorated it and next cut it out very carefully to make sure that all the flaps fitted together perfectly. Finally, we filled our baskets with treats! Happy Easter everyone!
Koki had a very special letter this week from his friend in Japan. We were all delighted for Koki as he was the first one to receive his Flat Person back from its journey! Well done Koki! I loved seeing your happy face! Thank you for sharing your letter with the class.
We also had Liza - Declan's Mum come in to read her favourite book "Tiddler" by Julia Donaldson. We loved hearing all the reasons for Tiddler being late to school. We then drew our own examples and linked the image to the text. Thanks Liza for being a great communicator!
Thanks to Jake - Sasithon's Dad for sharing his favourite poem "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes. In class we acted out small parts and read the verses with actions, different voices and movements! Thank you for being a secret reader Jake and a risk taker!
